Modigliani tuvo una vida autodestructiva y disoluta como la de muchos artistas bohemios. Sus figuras son almas robadas dicen. Se tratan de figuras estiradas que inspiran serenidad y quietud, me recuerdan a las figuras del Greco. Las distorsiones de los cuerpos se alargan buscando un estado como de relajación espiritual.
Estos meses en Madrid Modigliani es protagonista de una exposición en el Museo Thyssen Bornemisza de indudable atracción popular.
